Mrs Landor, (Assistant Head of RE) told me of the exceptional work that 7O had completed about their local community. Special mentions go to Adam Dawber, who photographed lots of areas in his community and included them in his project, with an explanation of how they are important to the area. Also Amy Bullough and Molly Bibby produced very detailed guides to the amenities and religious communities in their local area. Fantastic efforts everyone, well done!
Mr O’Callaghan informed me that at the first ‘Science Club’ meeting on Thursday, there were over forty, Year 8 pupils eager to get started! He also told me the pupils were a credit to the school and their behaviour was exceptional. Next week they are doing a ‘weird animal’ quiz followed by pupils learning how to make slime using a combination of chemicals; I think I’ll call in to see what’s going on!
Our wonderful school production of The Wizard of Oz is this week - don't miss out - buy your tickets as soon as possible.
Well done to all involved, keep up the good work.
