It was a very short week this week, but it was lovely to be able to celebrate Lenten Mass with all year groups in St Oswald’s Church. Special thanks to Father John Gorman and Deacon John O’Brien for celebrating Mass with all our pupils.
Miss Gallagher told me Year 7 pupils have so much to celebrate as we come to the end of their second term in school. So far… the achievement points leaders are 7O, with 131 points and behaviour points leaders are 7A, who still have 0 points. Individual achievement point leaders are Niamh Williams and Tyler Jones, in 2nd place are Lily Webster and Harry Jackson and in 3rd place are Danielle Jade Halsall and Joshua McHenry. Pupils who have produced brilliant work or achievements this term include: 7A - Sadie Scully, who has been very keen to raise money for charity for a while and she has now decided to organise a cake sale for next Tuesday to raise money for Cancer Research. Josh McHenry offers to help every morning! He is very enthusiastic towards all aspects of school ….long may it continue!
7B - Lotte Hendriksen, for always being on time, well organised and very helpful. Also, Cameron Hunt for always being on time, well organised and having a positive attitude every day to everything done in form.
7G - Jessica Lloyd, for being a polite and well-mannered pupil. Jessica shows excellent focus and effort in lessons. Also, Reiss Harvey for being a polite well-mannered pupil, who has excellent attendance and punctuality. He is a pleasure to teach. Reiss has recently been helping out at assembly by assisting in the 'lights and screen' office.
7H - Rebecca Roberts, works incredibly hard and puts in a lot of effort in form. Rebecca is always happy and willing to help someone out and get involved with form. Frankie Dean also works incredibly hard and puts in a lot of effort in form. Frankie is always happy and willing to help someone out and get involved with form activities.
7L - Caitlin Morgan for being consistently hard working, dedicated, organised and helpful. David Ozga for being very reliable, polite and helpful.
7M - Thomas Pinder for enthusiasm, willingness to get involved in form activities and always being motivated to answer questions. Eleanore Burns for enthusiasm, willingness to get involved in form activities and always being motivated to answer questions.
7O - Fleur Sandbach for her commitment to joining in with extra-curricular activities. Patrick Boardman for his quiz prowess.
7S - Jessica Maitland for consistently helping out in form time, collecting and distributing form notices and achieving consistently throughout the year. Aedan Hambleton for most improved, good involvement in school activities and a valued member of the audio/visual club.
7W - Amelia Barrett for excellent effort and form time contributions. Also, Ben Stanier for excellent effort and form time contributions.
Well done to all pupils for their continued hard work. Have a wonderful Easter.
