We are all very excited in school this week as it is our school production of ‘Our Day Out’ on Wednesday and Thursday starting at 7.00pm, if you haven’t got your ticket already you need to get one fast as it is sure to be a sell out!

Mr Reardon told me that Year 9 have been working very hard this week, having accumulated almost 900 achievement points. A special congratulations should go to Lily Webster who picked up an impressive 25 points; the most by any one student this year. Congratulations! In forms this week, students have been exercising their democratic right by voting for their school and year council representatives. Well done to the girls who put themselves forward for election. We are looking forward to seeing who comes out on top!

Maria (Chaplain) has been having a tinned and dried food collection in the chapel for CAFOD Harvest Fast Day - all food will be going to a local food bank. She asked chaplaincy members to bring in just one or two tins but, Megan Blaikie and Isabel Hill in Year 7 brought in 60 tins between them!! Well done girls.

Miss Westwell informed me that Year 11 have a very busy morning, every morning - with CV's, personal statements, notices, prefect meetings and much more this week. All pupils from M2 and S1 haven’t missed a single second and managed to get themselves into school on time this week; well done to you all and keep it up! It's also been a brilliant week for L2 with 100% attendance. The winners of this week's quiz are L1 with 10 out of 10. The quiz is now a whole school activity. Our House Captains have taken on the responsibility of monitoring the quiz results for the whole school - you're not just winning the points for your form anymore, you're winning them for your house! Year 11 have accumulated 589 achievement points this week with 69 of those coming from B1. Well done to Ella Peloe, Olivia Harrald and Cate Woods who have each received four achievement points for being 'Highly Motivated'
We have received lots of nominations this week for our 'Leavers’ Do' prize draw. Names will be posted on our Year 11 notice boards as there are too many to name. We have loved reading some of the comments that have come with the many nominations this week! Here are a few of our favourites:
'He's working so hard in class, is always helpful and keeps out of trouble.'
'She is trying so hard and has been doing since the back end of Year 10!'
'She is a proper superstar! Tries with everything, does extra work and catches up.'
'They are amazing prefects in the LRC.  They have really impressed me every week on my duty.'

Great work from all pupils mentioned, keep it up!
