Aimee  and Kate  from 9A are walking 10,000 steps every day in March, around 155 miles by the time they have finished!  They are doing this to raise money for Cancer Research UK, a fantastic charity which I am sure you are all aware of.  Please use the link below to sponsor Aimee and Kate: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/aimee-walks-all-over-cancer-38

It is a very important (and also stressful!) time for our Year 11 pupils at the moment, as they started their GCSE trial examinations on Wednesday - and they last for a week.  It is a chance for every pupil to test themselves on sample GCSE papers to see where they are up to at this point in time and also gives the pupils the chance to work on their areas of weakness before the real thing starts in May.

Mr Reardon told me that Year 9 have been working hard since coming back after the half term break and collectively they have accumulated 515 achievement points. The biggest contributor to this was 9H with 143 so well done to all those in Mr Hobbs' form. On an individual basis it was Niamh from 9C who stormed ahead this week with 22 points thanks to her assembly participation. Keep up the good work!
