Did you spot Mr. Griffin on last week’s photograph? He is on the front row, second in from the right, the smile hasn’t changed!!

What a fantastic week we had last week! Mission Week was amazing with so many brilliant things happening around school, culminating in the Sts. Peter & Paul Mass on the front lawn outside school on Friday.  Thank you to all the staff and pupils for all your efforts, particularly our Chaplain, Maria who made all the arrangements and worked incredibly hard to make sure everything ran smoothly.

On Thursday we held a truly exceptional Sports Day, with two very long standing records being broken by Niamh Harrison and Austin Williams.  Sam Tracey also smashed the turbo javelin record, throwing over 2.3m further than the previous record. Absolutely amazing considering how hot it was!  I have been at the school 14 years and I think this sports day was the best one ever; all competitors gave everything, the other pupils really supported them and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly. Huge congratulations to everyone involved!
