The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England and is designed to help disadvantaged students of all abilities perform better, and close the educational gap between them and their peers.
The school estimates to receive £144,760 during 2019-20 in respect of the Pupil Premium Grant. This is based on 136 pupils, 5 service children and 7 Post LAC (Looked After Children). If additional funding is received following publication of official figures this will be adjusted accordingly. It is intended to deploy the Pupil Premium areas within the budget to raise achievement and narrow the gap between children from disadvantaged families and their peers.
Due to partial closure of school in summer 2020 the report for 20/21 will be published in March 2021.
