We will be hosting our Inter-house sports competitions this year in conjunction with National Sports week. Certain pupils will get the opportunity to represent their house/forms in sporting competitions. These competitions will take place this term and the pupils will take part during the school day. The competitions are as follows:- 

Football & Netball (National Sports Week 20th-27th June 2022) 

  • Monday 20th June 2022 - Period 1 & 2 – YEAR 9 

  • Tuesday 21st June 2022 - Period 4 & 5 – YEAR 8 

  • Wednesday 22nd June 2022 - Period 1 & 2 – YEAR 7 

Sports Day Field & Track Heat (Monday 27th June 2022) 

Sports Day Track Events (Wednesday 29th June 2022) 

 Rugby & Hockey (TBC) 

Running of Competitions 

  • Competitions will be refereed/umpired by Year 10 Sports studies pupils; the competition overall will be run by the PE staff. 
  • Football will take place on the field (boots required) 
  • Netball will take place on the Netball Courts   
  • Both competitions will run the same:- 
    • Forms drawn/split into 2 groups 
    • Each form will play the other teams in their group. 
    • Each game will last 5/7 mins (No extra time) 
    • Second phase of competition TBC
