The year 7 rugby team have made it into the National Cup competition due of their brilliant performances in the North West competition. 

For the first round they were drawn to play Archbishop Sentamu in Hull and the team travelled to Hull today. Unluckily the team was narrowly defeated 14-12, however the players all showed great resilience turning round a halftime deficit of 10-0 to then take the lead, but sadly were pegged back in the final moments of the game.  What a wonderful encounter for all involved!  Congratulations to Archbishop Sentamu and good luck in the next round!

This team has shown amazing promise for the future, so well done and congratulations to everyone involved!
