Y8 student, Scarlet has run 22.3 miles over 7 days to raise money for the MND Charity, ending up at the Saints stadium on Sunday.  Scarlet is inspired by the rugby player Rob Burrow as she plays in a number 7 shirt, which is the same number that Rob played.

Starting on 1 December 2024, Scarlet set off from the Haydock Community Rugby League Club to 6 different community clubs, finishing with the final run on Sunday (Day 7) to the Saints’ Totally Wicked Stadium, which is a total of 22.3 miles. 

Scarlet plays for Haydock Warriors and next year will be playing under 13s in the girls’ team. Rugby is a massive part of her life! 

Scarlet has done fundraising previously, including during the Covid lockdown when she ran around the pitch at Haydock for the equivalent of the distance from Saints’ stadium to Salford Red Devils’ home.  Read more about Scarlet's fantastic achievement here:
