Our Y7 students had a fantastic time competing in a Maths challenge yesterday which was a fun-filled test of speed and strategy.  Students competed to solve problems and make the best purchasing decisions under time pressure; racing against the clock to calculate the best way to buy pens and pencils which tested both their quick thinking and mathematical skills.  It was a fast paced, exciting challenge that created a lot of competition and also lot of very loud chatter!  The Maths Department love setting this challenge as it sharpens the students' problem-solving skills within a fun environment.
