Mr Mousdell was Head of Art at St Edmund Arrowsmith, for over 30 years. During that time, he championed high levels of drawing skill, regularly giving demonstrations to students in lesson and helping them increase their skill level.

The Mousdell prize for skill in art is awarded each year to a Year 9 student who, having completed their KS3 course, has demonstrated this high level of ability and a commitment to increasing and developing their own skill.

This year, the award goes to Jessica, a student always seeking to develop their natural ability, she's developed her own individual style and strives hard to demonstrate the level of skill Mr Mousdell was synonymous with.
