As Christmas approaches, with such speed, we look forward to time spent with family and loved ones and the good cheer that the season brings with it. For some of us, this isn’t always the case and Christmas can be a reminder of how alone we are, in this world.
Our amazing community has come together to spread la little light into the darkness for those who are not able to share Christmas this year. Our wonderful staff, students and members of St Oswalds' church have been busily knitting and crocheting blankets and squares, to be pieced together into more blankets to be sent out with the message that you are never truly alone. You are always in someone’s thoughts.
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to those who have spent time and effort into making these beautiful blankets, (and the photos only show a fraction of the donations). You are amazing people, shedding a little light into the darkness.
We wish everyone, everywhere, a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.
