Pupils and staff in our Transition Room were over the moon with the delivery of the brand-new tables and chairs, kindly funded by our hard-working PTA.
Fundraising has been going on in earnest by the PTA, who organise many events over the year to raise money to provide necessary items to support our pupils. Their work is all the more important in these times of austerity and dwindling budgets!
Mrs Butler is “delighted” with the new furniture, the pupils are “thrilled” that there is no chewing gum lurking under the tables and a visiting professional commented “what a difference it had made to the learning environment”. All-in-all, a very popular purchase. Thank-you PTA!
The next fundraising event the PTA are organising is the annual Summer Fayre on Friday 12th July! Hoping that the rain will have finally ceased by then (!), why not call down to the school, grab yourself a book bargain, win a superb prize on the lucky tombola, or even treat yourself to a chilled gin and tonic, soaking up the atmosphere as you listen to the live singers and watch our talented dancers in action.
