6 Gymnasts from St. Edmund Arrowsmith (Y7/Y8 & Y9) travelled to Stoke-on-Trent to represent the school at the weekend to compete at the British Schools Acrobatic Gymnastics Finals. They had qualified by winning at the North West Regional competition earlier in the year and competed against the champions from the other nine regions in the finals with a chance of becoming British Schools champions.

It was a fantastic day for the school. In the U14 Girls Group category, Emma Green, Isla Cook, Hannah Gannon, Hattie Lloyd, Eva Booth and Lola Sitko scored a comfortable victory with a stunning performance. They defeated the defending champions from Lancaster in the process of winning the national title.

Hannah Gannon and Lola Sitko took to the floor for a second time in the Under 14 Girls Pair competition. With one gold already secured, they stormed to another victory with a flawless routine to be crowned double British Schools Champions for St. Edmund Arrowsmith School.

Two students from SEA's class of 2023 also competed in the Under 19 Pairs. Mia Ellison and Holly Williams, now representing St. John Rigby College, won convincingly to take their own British Schools title.
