Congratulations to Y10 student, Lucia who was selected to play for Lancashire Rugby Union - U16's following an assessment day on Sunday.  This year, Lancashire received more nominations than ever to take part in the trials, due to the increased popularity of girls' rugby.  Lucia was absolutely delighted to be selected as she loves her rugby - training twice a week and playing a match most weekends, or whenever she can. 

It is a superb achievement and shows an strength of character and determination to succeed.  These characteristics can be applied to all aspects of life, and can help to shape your future into whatever you want it to be!

Well Done Lucia - your love of sport will lead to where you want to be in life!  It's a fantastic achievement and one to be proud of!
