Studied at SEA from 1998 - 2003
Left with 11 GCSE’S Grade A* to C.
Having completed A Levels in Psychology, Sociology and English language at Carmel college, St Helens, I was unsure on what I wanted to do next. Special Needs Teaching, Occupational Therapy or Social Work were all strong contenders – but all required different degrees and training routes!
I decided to have ‘a year out’ before going to University and decide. I applied for a job with Stephensons in the New Business Team that was advertised in the local evening newspaper, and the rest – as they say, his history!
I left college in May 2005 and joined Stephensons in the July.
I spent a short time in the new business team before moving over to the crime special cases unit working with Campbell Malone on criminal appeals and CCRC applications. By this time, I had considered training to become a prison officer!
