Year 8 and 9 Robotics Challenge
Year 8 and 9 pupils have the opportunity to get involved in the Tomorrow's Engineers LEGO Robotics Challenge. This allows them to work as part of a small team to develop LEGO robots to do a series of challenges. These challenges take place at regional heats across the country and involve a speed challenge, a research project presentation and the challenge mat. Pupils are encouraged to problem solve and be creative and develop confidence throughout the program by learning how to present to a panel of judges and remain calm under pressure. The club meet once a week but pupils often chose to come in in their own time to do more work to the robots.
