Sitting in anticipation, we waited eager with questions for Lucy to begin. How lucky we were to have Macbeth in our own school hall! On Friday 11th October, Lucy Ellison (who plays Macbeth in the Royal Exchange production) answered our questions discussed the play and even performed two monologues!
Not only did we hear provoking interpretations of the themes covered in the play, we got to express our own options and debate whether Macbeth is truly evil or not.
I felt so privileged to find out her favourite lines and listen to her soliloquies live from the hall. It was an amazing experience and an inspirational workshop to attend with my friends.
Thank you to Lucy and Mrs Baylis for giving us this wonderful opportunity. I truly enjoyed it.
