Congratulations to all the team on a brilliant defeat against Byrchall 16-4 on Wednesday! It was a great victory for the players and a fitting end to their rugby career at SEA. Good luck to all these young men for their future & thanks for being part of a brilliant team!

I had the pleasure of coaching our Y11 rugby team in their final game of their Eddies career on Wednesday. the game was against our local rivals Byrchall. In what has been an up and down 5 years of competitive rugby for them (COVID, Injuries etc), it was a very proud moment for me and the school to see these young gentlemen take to the pitch again as a full squad. They conducted themselves impeccably and were a credit to the school and their parents/carers.
After a tough first half or fending off a relentless barrage of attacking sets from Byrchall, our defense stayed resilient. After some fantastic link up play and sheer determination we ended up defeating them 16-4. It was a great victory for the players and was a fitting end to their school rugby representation of St Edmund Arrowsmith.
